“When I Am No Longer Here…” From a LinkedIn Post to My Life’s Mantra

It started as an innocent LinkedIn post—just me, sharing a moment of reflection and a bit of my story. I didn’t expect much from it. I simply wanted to give voice to something that had been stirring in my heart.

But what began as a simple share has now evolved into something much deeper. It’s become a passion. A purpose. A personal call to live my legacy now—and to invite other women to do the same.

“When I am no longer here…”

That sentence surprised even me as I typed it. It came out of nowhere, unplanned and unfiltered—but it stayed with me long after I hit “post.”

Not because anything is wrong. Not because I’m sick. But because of the quiet truth it carried.

At 13, I had a near-death experience that shifted how I viewed life. It made me pay attention—to beauty, to joy, to every small moment.

In my 20s, I lived with wide eyes and an open heart, discovering how the world worked and how to appreciate its wonder.

In my 30s, I started uncovering who I was. I examined my gifts and my gaps. I asked myself what my purpose was, why I was here, and what God wanted from my life.

Now, in my 40s, that one line—“When I am no longer here”—has become more than a fleeting thought. It has become my mantra.

Not as a fear. Not as a final chapter. But as a bold reminder that I am here now—and that matters.

I Don’t Want to Just Think About Legacy—I Want to Live It.

Legacy isn’t something we leave behind. It’s something we build in every conversation, decision, and act of courage.

I want to live mine surrounded by women who:

  • Truly respect and value one another

  • Celebrate, encourage, and challenge each other to grow

  • Lead boldly, without apology

  • Support one another through every season

  • Share tools, stories, and strength

This is the kind of community I’ve always dreamed of—and now, I’m building it.

Not just a group. Not just an initiative. A movement of women leaders committed to impact, authenticity, and living their purpose fully.

HOW TO LIVE YOUR LEGACY NOW:

  1. Speak the words you've been holding back. That one sentence shifted something in me. What words do you need to say?

  2. Reflect on the seasons you’ve already lived. Your 20s, your 30s, or wherever you are—each decade has given you lessons worth carrying forward.

  3. Stop waiting for the perfect time. Legacy isn't built later. It's built now, in the day-to-day choices and the way we show up.

  4. Find the right women to walk with. We rise higher and stronger when we’re surrounded by others who are rising too.

  5. Take the next brave step. Join a new circle. Lead the meeting. Say yes to the scary thing. You’re more ready than you think.

If you feel that tug… If you’re ready to stop waiting and start living your legacy— Join us.

In our Roundtable Forums, women leaders grow in community. They get the support, strategy, and sisterhood they need to run their companies with confidence and live their purpose with clarity.

You don’t have to build your legacy alone.

Let’s live it now. Together.
